4 Strokes Install Instructions for KTM - HUSQVARNA- GASGAS

Plug in your ECU, set your idle speed to factory setting.

250 / 350 Engine at 2200 RPM (+/- 100)

450 / 500 Engine at 2000 RPM (+/- 100)

If you want your bike to idle like a Harley, buy a Harley!

The TPS standard voltage is 0.40 volts (+/- 0.01). If your buddy tells you some wacko number, he is wrong. You will create other issues.

The red idle screw should be out until the spring is loose. The yellow knob is not pushed in or touching the throttle plate. (Initial setting of the yellow knob is all the way out counter clockwise and turned in 28 clicks)

Does the TPS voltage need to be reset all the time like people say online? NO!

If you are experiencing an issue that just began, check fuel pressure and the cylinder leak down, first. Once in a blue moon, a TPS goes bad. In all my years doing this, I may have seen 3 TPS’ bad of this generation and most were packed with mud.

To gain the most performance out of your 4 stroke, it is recommended to put a 2 stroke air cage in the bike with an open exhaust. If your bike comes with reeds, remove them. Also, some bikes have an “engineered air leak” in the intake on the cylinder head. This brass nipple needs to be removed and replaced with a 6x1.0 mm bolt with copper sealing washer.

Our competition kit comes with the screw along with an O2 delete and fuel cap vent for the frame.
